I used to know an astrologer who used the ashtka varga of the 3rd lord, 8th lord and Saturn's ashtak varga ( in case it is not the 3rd or 8th lord). He used to do a matrix type calculation and he could predict the exact year and month of death. But he never disclosed the procedure.
There are 24 such algorithms to calculate exact age. It include ashtakvaga based algorithm too. None of them are One fit for all method. An astrologer need to learn all. There are rules regarding which one of them will be valid for the person depending on which planet or combo is strongest in chart. These could be misused or can create fear in people so we talk of Ayukhand instead of exact age.

One need to see Ayukhand first. If someone is Madhyayu or Deerghayu then forget all this. About degrees.... one need to analyse full chart as degree of Lagna then also will be important.

Han ji! Exact age could be predicted. There are 24 algorithms for same. Depending on certain factors in kundali an expert astrologer can deduce which algorithm will be applied on this kundali. But this exact knowledge could create fear hence we avoid it. Today you want to die at tour native place but may be 30-40 years later when no one of your family would be staying at your native place then this would not make sense for you too. Our perspectives and likings do change with changing Mahadashas in life. So relax and live life fully in every moment. Knowing how to live now is more important.
